Zen Dog Howling at the Dark Moon

Poet Red Pine (Bill Porter) spoke about his new translation of Lao Tzu’s classic text , the Tao Te Ching, at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, Volunteer Park.  Red Pine inscribes my copy of the book “for Zen Dog howling at the dark moon.” He explains that the Tao of Lao Tzu is of the dark new moon and the Tao of the I Ching is of the bright full moon.   The book contains  selected commentaries from the past 2,000 years.  Printing by Copper Canyon Press, Port Townsend, WA.  www.coppercanyonpress.org   Wu Ziying preformed beautiful musical interludes on the GuQin.
