Hello all!
I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful sunny weather Seattle has been blessed with recently. As we make our way into the summer I would like to invite you all to a Summer Solstice Despacho Ceremony this Friday, June 21st at 7:00. Despacho ceremonies are a great way to express our gratitude for the passing of one season and to welcome in the energies of the approaching season. As we say goodbye to spring we express our thankfulness for the elements that have nurtured our seeds of becoming and we place ourselves into balance to receive the bounty of what we have planted. Come join our circle as we weave our luminous threads together and create a gift to give to our sacred Earth Mother to express our gratitude.
The Despacho ceremony has moved from its original venue and East West Bookstore to the Zen Dog Tea House. East West Bookstore was a beautiful venue for our ceremonies but Zen Dog Tea House has proven to be just as beautiful and has the added element of being able to have everyone join us for fire as we burn the despacho. It has been wonderful to have people join us from the beginning to the very end of the despacho ceremony. I hope you will join us to relish in the yummy energies of the evening. Details for the event are listed below.
Thanks and I hope to see you there.
Blessings!

Tulku Yeshi Rinpoche Teaching
As you know, before the Bodhisattavas achieved higher realization, they were ordinary beings just like us, but something happened which changed their lives forever. Since then, they have never given up working for the welfare of all sentient beings, nor will they ever give up in the future. There are countless bodhisattva practices, but all of them are contained
within the Thirty Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva, a powerful text famous in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Tulku Yeshi Rinpoche will offer clear explanations of each one of the thirty-seven practices.
